Biography

Marco obtained his Master’s of Physiotherapy from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria in British Columbia.

Having lived in various parts of Canada, he is incredibly excited to be back home in Victoria, BC. As a young adult, Marco sustained a serious whiplash injury and concussion which led him down his own rehabilitation journey where he was able to make a full recovery. This experience was the catalyst for his desire to become a physiotherapist and help others on their own rehabilitation journey and he understands how pain and dysfunction can affect all aspects of an individual’s life and can lead to significant psychological, emotional, physical, and social hardships.

Fast forward to today, he takes a passionate approach to physiotherapy, integrating manual therapy, soft-tissue and myofascial release, education, and individualized exercise programs to help patients on their rehabilitation journeys.

Outside of the clinic, Marco can be found strength training at the gym, playing soccer, following the financial markets, or playing his Spanish guitar. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new countries, immersing himself in different cultures, and exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island.
