The cost of physiotherapy treatment may vary depending on your health insurance coverage and the services provided. Please call our clinic for more information.

On your first visit, you will be assessed by one of our therapists who will ask you about your symptoms and medical history. You will then undergo a physical examination and some tests may be done. Based on the results of your assessment, you will receive your first treatment session and also receive a treatment plan created specifically for you.

Typical clothing attire is loose, comfortable clothing such as shorts, track pants and a T-shirt. Please avoid wearing jewelry or clothing that may restrict movement. Treatment rooms are private if you need to change.

No, you don’t need a doctor’s referral to come to physiotherapy. However, some insurance providers may require a referral from your doctor in order for your treatment to be covered.

The number of sessions required varies from person to person. It depends on the condition being treated and how responsive you are to treatment and exercise. We also find that many people respond best when they have guided exercise programs in place so even though this tends to lead to better and faster outcomes, it also leads to more total visits. Some clients choose to do all their exercises at home on their own and that is fine as well.
