You might be surprised that I…
  • I have competed in 6 Ironman and 17 Half Ironman triathlons
  • I have worked for two different NHL teams
  • I am certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) to support folks experiencing chronic pain, anxiety, and other unwanted symptoms.

Want to find out if we’re a good fit? I offer free consultations by phone, online, or in person to talk about you: your background, what’s been on your mind, and what you’re hoping to get out of counselling. I’ll also share a bit about myself, my approach, and how I can best support you.

  • Are you feeling anxious or panicked? Are you drowning in grief, anger, shame, or guilt? One of my specializations is working with clients toward Emotional Regulation. This means I can help you develop effective coping strategies to deal with big, overwhelming feelings. Together, we’ll build a life raft that allows you to navigate these emotions with more ease and confidence.
  • Have you been struggling with chronic pain or other unwanted symptoms, and no matter what you have tried, the symptoms persist? Using Pain Reprocessing Therapy, an evidence-based mind-body approach, you will learn the brain science behind what keeps you stuck in pain, and how brain retraining, nervous system regulation, and processing difficult emotions can turn down and eventually eliminate persistent pain and symptoms. Your pain is real, and the solution is through developing a sense of safety towards your sensations, emotions, and being your authentic self.
  • Do you find yourself caught in thought spirals that feel like a persistent loop of worry? Together, we’ll find ways to reframe unhelpful thoughts so that you can focus on what is most meaningful in your life.
  • Are you a people pleaser? Would you like to communicate better in your important relationships? Together, we will improve your communication skills so that you learn to set healthy boundaries and feel more confident expressing your needs.
  • Have you experienced trauma? As a trauma-informed therapist, I integrate mind-body approaches that support you through processing intense emotions and difficult memories while prioritizing your physical, emotional, and psychological safety.
  • Are you struggling to attain a sports performance goal? Whether you’re an athlete navigating mental blocks, an injury, performance anxiety, or looking to meet a specific goal, I offer tailored support to inspire courage and belief in yourself, on and off the field, fairway, court, or start line.
  • Are you struggling with an eating disorder? Together, we will explore the deep roots of disordered eating patterns, including perfectionism, low self-worth, control, and body image concerns. I take a compassionate approach to challenge diet culture and support you in building a more nourishing and respectful relationship with food and your body.
