Donna Gee graduated in 1985 from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.

Donna Gee graduated in 1985 from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. After graduation, Donna worked in Regina at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, where she dealt mainly with musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Donna moved to Hong Kong in 1991 and remained there until she moved to Victoria in 2019. While in Hong Kong, Donna worked in various outpatient clinical settings with a special interest in the treatment of sacroiliac dysfunctions. This interest led Donna to discover Pilates and how effective it is for rehabilitation.

Treatment sessions with Donna focus on postural alignment with stabilization of the body through activation of one’s core muscles. Donna experienced first-hand the value of core stability using Pilates-based exercises in recovering from her 3rd and 4th pregnancy, three low back injuries, neck and shoulder pain, knee injury, and an ankle sprain. Donna has taught core stability to clients as young as six years old up to 80 years old. One of her passions is working with post-natal moms.

In addition to using Pilates exercises, Donna also offers Cranial Sacral Therapy, NeuroKinetic Therapy, manual therapy, Emotional Freedom technique, Somato-Emotional Release, Reiki, and more.

Donna’s philosophy is that wellness is achieved by bringing the physical, mental and emotional bodies into balance with each other.
