Maximize Clinical Skills

• Monthly Education sessions on topics chosen by the team
• Weekly or bi-weekly (your choice) one on one sessions to discuss all things clinical or business. These sessions are designed to help you grow as a therapist and overcome any hurdles that arise along the way
• Multi-disciplinary team

Compensation

• This position provides a fee split based on billings as an independent contractor. We direct bill many insurance companies
• The fee split is based on a flat percentage of billings and there are also opportunities for an hourly wage based on additional duties such as marketing or other projects
• After one year there’s an opportunity for you to change your contract agreement to a commissioned employee from independent contractor to a commissioned employee
• Zero rent costs on a one year contract

Duties

• One of our models of care is called the “team treat” approach where a patient receives one to one direct kinesiology services that are billed as physio and therefore under the treatment plan of a physiotherapist. This is due to insurance constraints on kinesiology and provides excellent service to patients who benefit from the skills and knowledge base of two health professionals both working to help them achieve their goals
• Direct patient care and personal training that includes history taking and understanding each patient’s goals, assessment and provision of care. We recognize that there are diverse skill sets across the profession and thus assessment and care provision are done within the scope of knowledge and training of each individual.
• As a registered kinesiologist you’ll be instrumental in enhancing patient care via tailored exercise. The intensity and level of exercise is dependent on individual needs and goals therefore the ability to assess and progress/regress exercise intensity is a key skill
