An 18 month Concussion Internship

This position is for the physiotherapist with a passion to develop their concussion specific skillset

The internship includes:

• Technology training to create objective measures of concussion related deficits (Neurocatch, RAM4 Neck Function testing system, Brain Repair Protocol, Brain Gauge, Force plate)
• Fully paid Concussion Nerds training with Natasha Wilch 
• Weekly case work with mentor physio JR Justesen
• Caseload support for a varied or concussion specific caseload

This approach provides structured mentorship, access to a community of like-minded therapists, a superb course curriculum, and both the tools and clinic space to serve concussion patients to an outstanding level of care.

In addition we will cover concussion testing, manual therapy and exercise protocols for the neck both to treat concussion patients, and also help to prevent future injuries through improved neck function.

Coursework, literature reviews and mentorship according to your pace and needs such that after 18 months you will have developed a highly specialised set of treatment and assessment skills.

Finally consider how you can achieve all this while making as much or little as you’d like, working alongside an amazing team of humans both clinical and administrative, while enjoying a lifestyle and climate envied by the rest of Canada.
