This opportunity is for someone with the mindset and desire to become a leader in the profession. A new graduate is absolutely welcome to apply as we are looking for the right person more so than having the right experiences. Of course any leadership background experiences are a great plus.

The person we are looking for values loyalty and wants to grow with us their entire career. This individual wants to grow as a clinician and a leader at the same time to fast track their career. Partnership opportunities will exist at your base clinic as well as other at other locations after successful completion of the Internship. We will also provide you with a structured system of clinical mentorship simultaneously.  

Your internship is essentially a mini-Masters on clinic leadership.

This opportunity is going to be in Sooke BC so the next 18-24 months of your life will be in a small but beautiful and supportive community that’s still about 30 minutes from the Westshore. We even helped our last team member to find a great rental in the community. Others prefer to live in Langford/Colwood for social life and work in Sooke as the traffic commute is going the easy way. Lots of options here. 

What You’ll Earn: 

We provide a clinical fee split between 57-62% based on an income ladder.

The Internship training does not cost anything – what’s more is that we have a compensation structure for CD training and work – you will earn while you learn. At the end of your training we will also pay a bonus of clinic equity to the person who wishes to stay on in the Clinical Director   role AND you will have the opportunity to buy additional equity/ownership from the existing ownership group. If Sooke is not your long term home then other opportunities await. But seriously, Sooke is awesome.


What You’ll Learn:

This Clinical Director internship is based on 32 teaching modules that you will take on while also seeing patients and receiving mentorship towards becoming an awesome physio. These two tracks are intended to run side by side. This is not an easy program but if you want 5+ years of professional growth over the next 1-2 years then this is for you.

Clinical growth with Ortho club opportunities across all clinics (1-2 per month per clinic so you have access to free courses every week if you wish).

Clinical and personal growth with weekly meetings with a clinic director to ensure that your work life balance is holding up, that your learning needs are being met, and that details around things like time off or technical questions are all taken care of.

Clinical Director Training:

Pillar 1. Financials

• Learn how to read and set up a business spreadsheet
• Learn how to set up an organisation and meetings
• Understand the statistics of your business and how to achieve goals
• Learn how to read and write profit/loss statements and why they’re critical to a healthy business

Pillar 2. Operations

• Understand how the scoreboard can help you solve your team’s problems
• Develop Leadership skills to help your clinicians
• Develop Leadership skills that align personal, professional and business goals and values

Pillar 3. Marketing and Recruitment

• Clinicians are the most valuable assets of any clinic. Recruitment lessons and strategies
• How financials, operations and values should align with recruitment goals
• Marketing deep dive and how to ensure that your clinicians continually have new patients to serve and treat
