About Calum
Calum is a provisional physiotherapist who helps active people get back to the sport and movement they love. Having been a patient, an athlete and a clinician, he understands rehab from every side.
Return to sport, with a focus on hamstring injuries
Calum’s main clinical interest is people returning to doing the things they love. His master’s dissertation examined return to sport after hamstring strain injuries in track and field sprinters. Whether you’re a sprinter, a soccer player, a runner or a weekend warrior, Calum’s goal is for you to return to full activity confident, prepared and less likely to be hurt again.
Informed, collaborative care
Calum believes you should be an informed member of your own care team. He explains what’s going on, what your testing showed and what the first stages of treatment will look like, so you always know the plan and why each step matters. His treatment centres on education and progressive exercise, building on his years as a clinical kinesiologist working alongside various healthcare providers. He’s comfortable with everything from sports injuries to post-operative recovery, work-related injuries, older adults and persistent pain.
A patient first
At 15, Calum fractured his femur and needed two surgeries. His rehab got him back to sport and later to university track, and it’s the reason he became a physiotherapist. He knows how daunting a serious injury can feel, and how much good guidance matters on the way back.
An athlete who gets it
Active people tend to make the best physiotherapists, and Calum is a competitive 100m and 200m sprinter. He raced for Brock University and continued competing in the UK during his master’s. Outside the clinic you’ll find him at the track, gym, or exploring somewhere new.

What Patients Say About Calum
“The team at Parkway is extremely kind, accommodating, and professional. I have been in pain for almost 6 years. After 6 months of treatment with Calum and Jenna, I have weaned off of half of my pain meds and my quality of life is greatly improved. I would not hesitate to recommend Parkway Physio.“
