Biography

I graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2001. I come from a background as a ski racer and  kayak/canoer racer as a Kid,  which aid in understanding of the goal oriented mind and those individuals needs. My current interests include surfing, riding and racing mountain bikes, Skiing, running, failing on the bouldering wall and teaching my two teenage boys the ropes.

Clinically, I completed my Manual and Manipulative therapy advanced exams in 2007 to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists the highest designation of Orthopaedic Physiotherapy recognized by IFOMPT (International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists)  . I also became certified in Intramuscular Stimulation in 2006.  In 2025 started work with the UBC Physiotherapy Program and achieved the rank of Clinical Instructor

I have specific interest in shoulder injuries and disorders of balance/Vertigo(dizziness).  However, my biggest passion remains wearing my strength coach hat and helping guide someone from dysfunction back to “normal” and beyond to high performance…whatever the definition of “high performance” is to that individual.  I am very goal oriented and measurement oriented with my approach to treatment.
