Biography

Kristen graduated from The University of British Columbia with a Masters of Physiotherapy after completing her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with Honors at The University of Victoria. Kristen has also completed further education in falls prevention as well as her Orthopedic Manual Therapy Level 1.

Kristen was born and raised in Victoria and was inspired to pursue a career in physiotherapy after years of competing in high level sports and experiencing many injuries herself. She grew up participating in a variety of athletics including soccer, volleyball, water skiing, baseball, and snow skiing.

Kristen has a passion for movement, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. She has a special interest in athletic populations but enjoys treating individuals of different ages and abilities. Kristen believes in evidence-informed practice and uses a combination of education, pain science, manual therapy, and individualized exercise programming to help her patients reach their goals. She aims to make physiotherapy an enjoyable experience for each of her clients!

When Kristen isn’t working she is enjoying the outdoors and everything the west coast has to offer with her friends and family. Kristen loves to hike year round, water ski in the summer, snow ski in the winter, and play soccer or volleyball in the fall and spring!
