Biography
Miranda completed her Master’s of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia after graduating from UBC Okanagan with her Bachelor of Human Kinetics with Honours.
She is originally from Port Coquitlam, BC, but is now thrilled to call Victoria her new home! Miranda’s passion for movement and rehabilitation is rooted in her history of sport, including competing at the provincial level for volleyball, as well as playing soccer and basketball. She also has a love of research and strives to implement current evidence into her practice.
Miranda enjoys treating individuals of all ages and abilities and has a special interest in pelvic health and manual therapy. She has completed her Orthopedic Manual Therapy Level 1 and has plans to pursue further pelvic health education. She is most passionate about providing person-centered care to empower community members to thrive and accomplish their goals.
She combines her zest for fitness and research to deliver evidence-based treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education. When Miranda is out of the clinic, she enjoys training in the gym, cycling and exploring the Island’s trails and beaches with family and friends.
